Prichhri village of Markacho block of Koderma district is very remotely located village surrounded by forest and hilly tracks. With a population of 250 and 37 households.
There is a lot of potential and market for lacquer manufacturing like bangles, jewellery, file, earring, pen stand etc. Also good quality lacquer is cultivated in Jharkhand.
It is well known that Koderma district is Mica affected district and due to most of the land being terraced, seasonal farming is possible here; therefore RJSS is striving towards the employment and development .
In order to make women financially strong and independent, the institute has started an effort to increase self-confidence among women by making small entrepreneurial groups of women by making mica flour, mica dal, mica masala etc.
