Through the organization, emphasis is given on increasing the income of families, who are financially weak and unable to arrange their food throughout the year. Such families are given financial assistance through government schemes. The organization ensures the income growth of such families and their food throughout the year. Under this program, 376 farmers have been assisted since 2016 with joint collaboration of Nav Bharat Jagrati Kendra and BFW, and with this cooperation a change can be seen in their lives.
Mental health is a growing concern. Lack of awareness and limited access to mental health care coupled with social stigma makes reaching out to people with mental illness a tougher task. In economically backward social groups, both urban and rural, people with mental illness are subject to neglect, isolation, abuse and traditional forms of treatment all of which have a negative impact on them.
RJSS Community Mental Health Program Has been operational since 2002 in Satgawan block of Koderma district, Jharkhand and in Nawada district of Bihar. We are successfully providing healthcare to the mentally ill people. Following are the actions under Mental Health Program.
